Blackpool has long been a favourite seaside resort area, and its popularity is set to continue with the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Zoo and Dinosaur Safari, Blackpool Tower and Circus, and the Sandcastle Waterpark providing year-round fun for all ages. If Scarborough and Blackpool are too busy for your liking, you may also consider Beadnell, Ainsdale, and Cleethorpes Central beaches. All three are popular, and are good for water sports and swimming, but may have a smaller amount of visitors in the summer months than their northern rivals.
